If there is going to be a Canadian division, might as well try to strengthen your team and hopefully weaken your opponent. I've always liked Leivo, the guy is a shooter and can certainly put the puck in the net. Can he stay healthy is the question.

Flames need to go for it this season Kenny, it certainly looks like there will be a Canadian division and I think they could make hay, but they need another guy up front who can put the puck in the net. Might have to swing a trade to free up some cash to sign Mike Hoffman on a 1 year deal.

Go the cheaper route and try Anthony Duclair. The guy can play. Just erase Bill Peters from the Flames Wikipedia page and you're good to go!!
