IF true, then lowball the Flyers or just wait for the offseason. While I'd love to have Giroux instead of the terrible vets we usually bring in, Ottawa isn't winning the Cup this year. So if the asking price is anything more than a 2nd and B-level prospect then they need to just walk away.

Yeah, didn't realize his contract was up this year. Honestly there is zero value to bring him in now, seems like a silly rumor at this point. Especially if Ottawa is the ONLY place he wants to play then just wait it out.

He also has an NMC, so if Ottawa is legitimately the only place he wants to go, then there is no reason to give up assets now.

Are the Sens still just allowing only 50% capacity at their home games? That would explain less than 9 grand at their game last night.

/The loathing of Melnyk is also likely a factor.

Well, it's about time. Hope the Sens players get over COVID and that they didn't pass it on to the Flames.

Yeah, that was totally pointless to have the Penguins come up there with a game the next day.

The NHL waited way too long and now the contact tracing just from that game is the Sens - > Pens -> Caps

That's great news for the Sens and it also pleases me that the Flames appear to have survived their game with Ottawa with no ill effects.

Ian, just because the GM says the rebuild is over to appease the psychopath owner doesn’t mean the rebuild is actually over and this team with 2 above-replacement level defensemen is good.

I’m at a total loss as to what these guys think the coach can do with this roster lol.

It’s only D+1 but he has 3 pts in 11 NCAA games and it’s not like BC is playing bad right now.

Also, the guy picked after him didnt get an invite to the prelim camp either but for very different reasons.

Boucher was a weird and likely bad pick but as usual you try to come off as smart and end up look like an uninformed troll. Tyler Boucher plays for Boston UNIVERSITY, who are 4-9-2.
