Seriously, if they don't flip Schenn taking him on was pointless.
That said both deals they made yesterday were pointless but at least with Deshairnes they got a pick for a worthless D-man.

The most valuable assets in both deals were the 4th round pick heading to Nashville and the 5th round pick coming to Pittsburgh. Bunting does nothing for the Predators, Novak is yet another roster filler for the Penguins, and both D-men are slow and useless with one being old, slow and useless.

Also on a slightly positive note. Didn't realize their AHL team was the top scoring team in the AHL!

Nice to see the majority of their top scorers are still in their early 20's.
