If the Flyers were interested they would've been negotiating with him at the same time as Vancouver.

Which means either one of two things:

1) Boudreau preferred the Canucks job over the Flyers, which I find hard to believe because there's almost a 100% chance Boudreau's gone before next season starts as the Canucks get a full time GM who wants his own guy whereas the Flyers full-time GM would've been hiring him, or

2) The Flyers weren't interested.

The situation in Vancouver leads me to guess it was #2, unless Bruce just doesn't want to live in the US right now.

Couuld you imagine if the new gm let's go BB in the off season... FA would be paying 3 head coaches next season lol

Is Benning officially the worst GM in Canucks History?

I still think Keenan is

Could the Sedin twins take on bigger roles, even become co-GMs? Not sure they would feel ready for the GM role yet, but who knows?

They’re smart guys and as others in Vancouver have pointed out already, they will now take on more expanded roles in the Canucks front office either way.

If the GM job in a shared manner is something that takes on a real possibility for the twins, I would imagine it would be imperative to bring in a veteran executive to help support Henrik and Daniel. Like a president of hockey operations.

LeBrun makes a valid point. What is next for the twins?

And I didn't share the link because it was an" The Athletic" story and those required payment

I really believe FA thinks all the issues are in Petterssons play and if he played like he did before we probably are in the playoffs or close ... He thinks BB will get him going but the flaws in our defense and again 4th line are far bigger issues .. pp and pk can be coached and fixed the lack of proper RHD cannot ..

I'm certainly going to watch the next few games to see what comes

Me and my brother are talking about Bennings "Legacy"....

Man those were some "Good" Times....

Ps. One of those words shouldn't be there. Guess which one?

when he drafted a sex-offender, the interest should have ended right there.
also, he has also build a really shitty team in a Canadian market. what's next, target Pierre Dorion?
