My worry is we get down early and Smith has to really sling it to get us back in the game. Not sure if Smith is built for that or our WRs for that matter.
Gotta jump on Luck early and run the ball effectively.
Winnable game for home opener.
Talent wise Washington is better than Indy.
2-0 no excuses

i think smith can do what is needed . until he shows that he cant .
all i know is we have a chance to rush the ball well vs the colts and if we do that alex can make some plays
our d/line should be able to pressure luck but he is a very good qb and he will get his
AJ Green and Joe Mixon were the leading Bengal receivers. I think that Gruden will find his best matchups. I expect to see the TEs and RBs play big roles for the Redskins all year. Smith will take the shorter routes and hopefully some seam routes to Reed and VD. He throws the ball best inside the numbers and not as well outside the numbers. I think the run game will work again also. Weather could play a huge factor.
Exactly...so if the Colts are smart, they simply put eight in the box with a high side safety while cutting off slants and ins.
Then you go over the top.
Exactly...if you are the Colts, you make AS do what he isn’t comfortable doing. You make him throw deep to covered people.
If they are going to play 8 in the box as you suggested then someone better be open downfield.
