Winner of this one gets the winner of the Broncos-Chargers. I'm watching but I'm bored and ready to watch the Broncos! Is it just me or does it seem like it has been an eternity since we last saw the Broncos play? And the last time the Broncos came off a bye and played the Chargers? A 28-20 win. But nobody wants to talk about that game, right?

Anyway, maybe we can small talk our way through this game while waiting for the Broncos to start tomorrow. Right now it's Patriots 14, Colts 7 and the 1st quarter just ended.

I'm dying for tomorrow. I'm trying to be a good football student, but none of it matters more than watching the Broncos beat the Chargers.

Patriots look like the better team so far. I hate to get ahead of myself, but I want a Brady v. Manning re-match really bad!

I'm glad the Broncos are playing when they are. That's the closest to a regular home game slot they could've received. It's nice to be as close to routine as possible.

As for this game, the Pats are looking good, especially on converting on 3rd down. The Colts are going to have to be perfect to stay in this thing.

Yes, agreed that the time slot is good for the Broncos. It just sucks for us fans who are going nuts while waiting for our game!

BTW, at a neutral site, Seattle looks beatable. Their offense is not that good, if you can shut down Marshawn Lynch.

My pick for that game was Seahawks 24, Saints 14. I was pretty close, 23-15. But keep in mind, every game has its own personality. Teams like the Broncos piling on 37 points every week are a rarity. Most teams vary quite a bit from week to week. The Seahawks could turn around and put up 40 next week. Of course, they'll be playing either the 49ers or the Panthers next week, and with those defenses, the Seahawks will be doing good to get 21 points up. Overall, there is not a team in the NFC remaining that I don't think the Broncos would be able to cut down. They just need to cut down some of these AFC teams first!

Truth. And hard to dislike, too. Much like Manning. I'd say the Colts may be one of the more blessed franchises for going from Manning to Luck with just 1 lousy season in between.

I agree iknow. The four teams in the NFC all sport the top defenses. Crazy the disparity between the style of the NFC vs AFC this year. I guess we'll cross the NFC bridge when we get to it. Right now, all I can think about is shutting down Phillip Rivers and dreaming of Peyton carving up that Chargers secondary.

I think the key to our game is to establish a running game for better play action and keeping Peyton free of the Chargers d-linemen. Welker should make a big difference on third downs too. Gotta keep moving the chains. Need to get ahead and make SD play catch-up.

I re-watched the last Broncos v. Chargers game and i thought that Von Miller was providing some disruption or was double-teamed. My biggest worry for tomorrow is the loss of Von. Time for Malik, Ayers, Phillips and Sly to really step up. I still think Champ makes a big play in this game. He's got a couple big plays left in him IMO.

I am with you on Champ. I have a good feeling about him going into this one. I think the defense will play just fine. They won't take over the game, but I don't see the Chargers being able to play that same game plan again this time. Some good run stopping early will put that to rest.

The Broncos will be treated to the Patriots gracing Denver with their presence if the Broncos keep their end of the bargain tomorrow. I am ready for this game to begin!
