That's because they know it will be a close game while no one wants to to see the home team get their shit pushed in by a legitimate blue blood

Colorado beat Nebraska last year...….

Maybe their ticket demand is high because the Colorado fans are excited to see a former rival and look forward to beating them two years in a row.

Economics 101, Supply and Demand.

I bought tickets to Nebraska at Iowa in 1999. I was driving through Iowa City, from Cedar Rapids to Itasca, Illinois, and decided to go into the ticket box office and get four tickets to the game. We saw Eric Crouch play.

Nebraska was the exact same price as Ohio State, $63 bucks I think. All other games were 1/2 that price or less.

When I went to college in Colorado, Colorado people hated Nebraska with a passion. Nebraska did not care too much about Colorado.

I always liked buying tickets to games at the Duke ticket office.

First I purchased the tickets and then asked the gal, "What time is kickoff?"

She replied..."What time can you get here."
