You know, more I look at these 2.. Please tell me the difference of Johnny Football and Tebow.

Both college icons and I don't think Johnny will be as good in the NFL. Better than Tebow probably, but not a force like he is in college. I could be wrong.

He's at his best when he's got forever to throw, whether via his escapability or his offensive line's play. The NFL will cut down on that escapability, and he won't have his dominant line with him in the pros. He's a better passer than Tebow, but has a lot of question marks at the next level.

Hey genoc2005: This post is for you. Welcome to the Rampages! I am a one of the moderators here. If you have any questions you know where to find me. There is plenty here for your enjoyment.

Vitamike has a thread going on with avatar assignments during the Rams season. Scroll down a ways in the forum and you'll see it under the title: "mutigers1 fan avi assignments". It is self explanatory. There are also threads with plenty of Rams vids both past and present if you want a shot of RAM FOOTBALL during the week.

Once you get past the 25 post mark, additional benefits are available to you and they will be found under the "UserCP" menu bar at the top of this page on the left. That includes downloading a post avatar (after 5 posts).

We are a passionate group as are most sports fans pages and Sportshoopla is THE site for sports talk. I run a fairly flexible ship here but I do have few rules that are non-negotiable and they are as follows.

We don't take kindly to trollin (which I am sure you are not unless proven otherwise) and we don't like a-holes either (of which I am sure you are not unless proven otherwise). Nudity in avatars is unacceptable and no scantly clad ladies in your avi's either. Both are not allowed.

Any unnecessary and unwarranted baiting of other posters through viscous personal attacks that become a pattern of behavior that is not conducive to fair sports talk banter WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!!!

We have a few cantankerous folks here but by and large they engage in passionate delivery of their points of view and do not engage in personal attacks that are viscous as I am sure you have discovered. And again, you don't appear to fit in this category either but it goes with the dime tour.

You can argue all you want and you can can get aggressive with your point of view including swearing, but when that aggression turns toward personal attacks that are excessive and outside of the topic at hand and become a consistent pattern of behavior, you will first receive a warning and your posts maybe edited. After the first warning, if the behavior continues you will be removed from this site. We're are all adults here and I am not in the business of baby sitting anyone.

The use of ALT's or Alternative accounts is strictly forbidden by HammerDown the owner of this site. I do not tolerate them either. First offense, banishment from the SportsHoopla. No negoitated wiggle room on this one. Again, you don't appear to fit this category to date but if you are found using ALTs there will be no warning.

If you have been a fan of the Rams for 50 or more years such as myself, we have a 50+ fanclub here of which there are now seven members to date. If you are eligible, present the relevant facts and the voting members will begin the induction process and vote on your nomination.

Once again, welcome to the Rampages, enjoy yourself, and jump right in on discussing the Rams as I see you already have.

Jameis Winston... You're talking to a big Seminole football fan here - I would love the guy. But he's going to be at FSU for probably 1 more year.

And what a leader this kid is. As a freshman! He is in the middle of everything and in his teammates faces constantly. Very positive with a great work ethic and alot of talent! He's special for sure. The reign of the SEC winning the BCS Championship may soon be over!

I know deal with whomever then next year draft him... if we can that is

also why is no one talking about our 5"7 punt returner that every1 said was gonna lite it up when on espn boards and here ive said all along hes too short to take at 16 he was too shot to take at 8th overall... we need Watkins (Clem) or Evans Texas A&M bottom line otherwise it doesn't matter whos at qb this year next year or in the near future

I never liked the Tavon pick. Said it from day 1. How can you expect someone to come in at 175 lbs and light anything up. Desean Jackson is the only player in the league at that size lighting things up. He's fearless too. And also was a 3rd rounder a few years ago.

Well then. It appears to be a consensus that all of the gyrations we did to get Austin was mistake of sorts. If we would have stayed put, we could have had a shot at Lacy and we certainly still could have nabbed Olgetree which was a great pick. Our second pick would have been around to pick up even a Larry Warford at G who has having a ROY go of it in Detroit even though he was taken in the third.

Even though we have improved from say the absolute worst draft of 2005, the Rams continue to pass by good players and go for the reach. Quick is starting to come around and Austin may eventually work out but the alternative certainly might have been better for us right now as well as the longterm which we cannot apply to the picks we did take except for Olgetree in the first two rounds of the draft!! This does not bode well as these go.

Trading up for Chance Warmack would have been ok with me. Or taking Jake Long would have fit with our original pick too. Oh well

I'm really high on Mike Evans as I've said before. The Rams have a lot of fun toys but no go yo guy. Evans and Watkins could turn into that because of their size. Another guy to look at outside of the 1st round is Jordan Mathews out of Vandy. The guys is 6'3" 206(as ESPN has him listed) and is tough as nails.

Mu I like Jordan Matthews too. He's better than Quick, but not sure he's better than Alshon.

Carr looks like he's faster than his big bro. David never had wheels to run.

Yea SJ76: I thought when I heard the Rams were considering trading up that they were going to take Warmack or Long. But when the actual trade came down, I couldn't believe it. Image our O-line with Warmack and Warford at guards, Jake Long and Kyle Long at tackles and Barrett Jones at center. Like you stated. Oh well-next draft!!

I wanted us to only trade up for Chance warmack, Kenny Vaccaro, Star Latulelei .... if we held our ground I wanted Ogletree(and was a must so I would have picked him at 16) and DeAndre Hopkins, or Eric Reid

then take Lacy, Bernard, Bell in the 2nd wich we would have only gotten either lacy or Bell.. my choice would been lacy over bell

3rd would have either been big john Jenkins DT Georgia or Shaun Williams Safety from Georgia

Bottom line is 5"7 175 does you no good and wasted picks for a punt returner

as far as this up coming draft we should go

1A Evans or Watkins in this order mainly bc Watkins has had atleast one knee surgery that I know of

1B Louis Nix Big DT Notre Dame

2 Craig Loston Safety from LSU or Loucheiz Purifoy CB Florida bc Finnagen needs to go

3 Seantrel Henderson From Miami can learn behind barksdale for a year he has big upside and im ok with taking a chance in the 3rd not the 1st like or 2nd like we have done in the past few drafts

:nod:Mathews #1, then Evans or Wathkins with the other #1 and then QB in the 2nd. Someone must 2 things next season, push Bradford to get better or take the job outright, I don't care which it is, just want a QB doing the job on every snap.

At the end of the game Oregon is out of the National Championship conversation for the time being.

Yes Blue, absolutely. No first round without Matthews. Fisher is going to have to forget his habit of not taking an O-lineman in the first round because of two reasons: One, Matthews will be available and we will need him when Saffold leaves; Two, Fisher coached his dad. Of course, loyalty to a family name when Fisher whiffed on selecting Kyle Long, but he'd better change his habits this time than to let a guy like Matthews walk especially when this dude is going to be an all-pro for the next decade at tackle.

Standford has a good defense and oregon doesn't have that RB with size. De'Anthony Thomas can run like Tavon, but a solid defense will hit him. ALOT!
