I've noticed that there has been some discussion about our deficient TE production. Did anyone get a look at Bryce Williams, the TE on ECU last night? I was very impressed by the 6-6 258 lb. senior. Wonder what round he projects?

I enjoyed watching Christian McCaffrey last night in the Stanford game. He had over 100 yards rushing and over 100 yards receiving. Impressive. I remember Scott and I watching him play in a PeeWee football scrimmage at halftime of a Broncos game over a decade ago. He was making crazy moves on other kids even then.

I also had a thrill watching McCaffery's highlights - wish he would have stayed in state as a Buff. He is not as tall as his dad, but boy can he run and juke.

Those Buffs needed to lose their virginity -and win one. They still need to have a foundational upset win - like beating UCLA or USC. I was hoping the Buffs would match up well with Washington State this year, but WSU looks pretty solid.

Right now Ohio State DE Joey Bosa and Cal QB Jared Goff are my #1 and #2 overall.

I like Cook, but question some of the tools to be a "Great" NFL QB but think he can be good. I like Hackenburg and feel he has the tools to be a great NFL QB, but I almost feel as if this early in the year he hasn't progressed a lot since last year. Doesn't help that his OL is brutally bad though.

Watching Penn St. right now. Hackenburg looks real good. I'm not sure if he will be entering the next draft, but if so I would love for Denver to draft this guy - if he's available with the 32nd pick.
