I figure it's probably a good idea to keep the specific game day reactions in a seperate thread than the College FB / Draft thread, which tends to get more broad.

Checkin' out LSU & Florida right now; Florida just lost a fumble.

Montgomery seems like he would be a better fit at 3-4 DE if he could bulk up a little more. 4-3 DE may be a more natural fit for him, though.

Clyde says Montgomery already added like 15 pounds this offseason, so adding more would probably be a bad iea. I don't ever think it's a good idea for NFL players to bulk up. I'd much rather they cut weight. Think about wrestlers; they always cut weight rather than bulk up

Montgomery doesn't look like he has to bulk up to play RDE in a 4-3. I don't know that he'd be all pro', but he'd be a good one IMO. I had him rated higher than Mingo last year, and I haven't seen anything to make me change my mind about that so far (although people say Mingo has more potential).

Unfortunately, neither one will be around when the Niners pick. Florida DL Dominique Easley probably will be, but he hasn't exactly set the world on fire so far this season. If he declares early, I might like him as a developmental DE for depth (depending on how far he falls of course).

I'm pretty impressed with Easley's pocket-collapsing ability today.

Odell Beckham looks like he fumbled the first 3rd down conversion they had and Matt Elam (having a huge day) came in to force the fumble.

Surprisingly enough, the Florida OL is starting to manhandle LSU's front 7 in the running game; granted a couple of LBs were out.
