wow some selfish people on this board. they would rather punish hamels and keep him on a team that will likely lose 90+ games again next year. not to mention the fact that he is maybe the only trading chip that we have to secure some quality prospect(s) in return, so we can build for the future.

Wouldn't it be selfish asking the starting lineup (whatever regulars and replacements wind up on the 2015 Phils) to horse around without a single experienced heavy weight on the starting pitching staff? Without Hamels these guys will surely lose 100 games. It's my preference to keep Hamels so we'll have someone to build around. I really don't know where Amaro is on this issue.

Right now, there is no direction to this team because braindead doesn't have a clue. It is just like last year. Trade Hamels, keep Hamels, IDK... ...again there is no direction and we'll lose 100 games because of this BS.
