This ^. I'll need to pick up another bottle since it will still be a few more weeks before the beer I brewed last week will be ready.


I'll also probably make another pot of chili either this weekend or next. I try to change up my recipes from time to time and liked the last one I made a few weeks ago for a cook-off. Chili is one of my tailgate specials along with BBQ ribs.

I've got a bourbon marinade that is great on ribs and butts.

1 cup of bourbon, 1 cup of apple juice, 1/2 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 cup of kosher salt.

Heat it up enough to dissolve the sugar and then throw it in a large zip lock bag with the meat over night. Injecting a pork butt works well too if you have an injector

Smoke as normal except baste the meat with the leftover marinade ever 15 - 20 minutes for the last hour or two (depending on meat being smoked, butts take longer, get basted longer).

Man I need to get my smoker out this weekend. This got my mouth watering.

I've only had the Pale Ale and IPA so far.........I'll be sure to try them all at the party though. Free Good People all night!
