I was at the Joe watching it on JoeVision until 1 in the morning. Still remember that long ass drive home. My sons whole hockey team was asleep in their seats until Igor scored. It was pretty effen awesome.

I just remember we all had sticks with flags, and couldn't even lift our arms to wave the damn things anymore. We couldn' lift our arms, yet they were still skating. Never felt more out of shape.
With 1 minute left in the third the place was ERUPTING.

1 minute away from taking a 2-1 lead on a team with 600 goals scorers on it's 4th line.
Then Brett Hull happened.

Still hate Brett Hull for that. Maybe not as much as Buffalo hates him, but lets just say I have never forgiven him. lol.

Never been at a sporting event with that many people where such a drastic swing of emotions happened as that building when Hull scored.

Then Larionov...

That was a long walk to the car, and a long drive home.
