man ... scary how numb we are becoming to all this shit ... weve basically seen snuff films 3 nights in row :L

The worry for me is that it becomes the new normal...Obviously, this is been a really bad week, but it seems that the respect that we have for people and for human life continues to ebb away.

Statistically though, we as a planet have never been safer. Just doesn't seem like it when a new murder is live streamed seemingly every few hours.

Hey @forty_three - next time you are in Baltimore you are in for a real treat. I won't spoil it and tell you how, but the three big gas tanks you pass by on 95 in the city have been painted - each with a separate design. It's delightful. I am almost glad traffic is just crawling by when I can bask in the glory of these new decorations.

Well, the next time I will be there is Christmas, so by then I am sure that everything from 10 feet down will be tagged. But I will look out for them. Thanks for the heads' up!

As you drive through the Fort McHenry tunne, have the family move toward the passenger side of the cars. That way they will be in prime position to see the beautiful artwork.

I really like to go for a walk at lunch, both for some exercise and to get away from my desk, but women yelling at me to smile gets old really fast.

Just a heads up. No matter how popular Pokemon Go is - its not appropriate at work to say that you have a Pokemon in your pants or say that you think a coworker has a Pokemon in her pants. At least that's what the email from HR I just got says.

Wild guess here, but I think Dubya's gone back on the sauce:

I mean, does he know why he's there?

Oy vey.

At our work, we have an area that is maximum security. 2 guards are assigned to monitor cameras and the people who work in there are not supposed to have recording devices, etc in there while working.

Yesterday, I got called to investigate someone who was in there walking around with their phone out and appearing to take photos of the monitors and the area.

Yeah. They were trying to catch something called a Mew 2.

So, I've also just seen that a part of the official GOP platform is that pr0n is a public health risk and needs to be addressed.

About time, I am tired of hearing how people keep going into movie theaters and schools and killing people with boobies.

did you also like the rogue tenor? He's a pork chop :thumb: lol
Not in particular, but while he's an asshat (and also American, apparently) I happen to think our anthem sucks so I'm not taking it as personal as others.

I think One Week by the Barenaked Ladies would be a much more apt national hymn.
