They better do the same shit in Canada. I could use that money to cover what I lost betting on England and Spain!

There are many that believe that the whole thing was a ploy by the EPA to get someone to pay for electric vehicle infrastructure. And since no one else had the cash reserves to do it, they were the ones to get called out for cheating.

Even though it's been proven that several car makers do the exact same thing. Not saying it's okay to cheat but when there is only 2 ways to pass the test (Cheat or not be forced to take it *cough*tractortrailers*cough*) maybe it's the test that's fucked up.

Best news is that TDI cars will be real cheap and plentiful after the buybacks. Hell, I might buy 2. Passat and a Beetle.

You're buying that Beetle for your daughter, aren't you?

Nope. If I can find a convertible, then me and the missus will be using it on weekends, if the price is right. If not, then I will continue my plan of buying a Boxster this winter when prices for convertibles typically bottom out.

Daughter already has a Beetle. My son gets my A4 when he turns 16. In (God help me) 2.5 years.

Plus all of this is an excuse to add onto the house in the form of adding garage space. :thumb:

Geez, I hope your son realizes how lucky he is getting an A4 for his first car. That is one fine automobile.

He knows. He actually gets a little perturbed when I don't clean it often enough.

I need to figure out how to flash the ECU to take about 100hp out of it by the time I give it to him.

Be sure to teach him not to drive like most Audi drivers I see these days.

They haven't quite passed BMW drivers for the worst out there, but they're not too far behind anymore.

We drive right up to the limit of BMW drivers, but we are quite content with letting the Bimmers hold the crown.
