Update: 15 years, 8 months, which is actually MORE than what the government was asking for in the plea deal.

I would have been surprised if a Canadian court would have handed down half that sentence, so well done by the judge in this case.

my bro in law is agitated by everyone on my wifes side of the family who started using my bro in laws home address outside of seattle as a shipping address when they make online purchases from US retailers to avoid duty/sales tax. Their home office became like a mini distribution centre at one point so i feel his pain

My wife decided to follow her familys lead and link her amazon account to his home address and got something shipped to them. They came up on one of their monthly visits and he had all the packages and we started talking to me about work and the algorithms they have in the software and a little bit on how they work (tracking buying patterns from ip's/addresses/phone numbers and some other shit like that). Then out of nowhere he asked if he could borrow my Emmanuelle dvd

Just a story on this. A quasi friend of mine at work, pat his girlfriend as she walked by. Someone from another department saw it. Both were fired. Him for touching her butt. Her for not reporting him.
