French press is the way to go. When my coffee maker dies I'm going to put in one of those on demand hot water heaters under my kitchen sink and pick up a french press.

In the summer I enjoy iced coffee, I have been using a 12 cup french press for that.

Normally I use a K-cup coffee maker but that was taking forever to make a pitcher of iced coffee.
