lol... I am sitting here watching Thor at work and just fed up with Hollywood. I do not mean to come off racist by any means, but why the fuck is there a black and an asian viking? If there were a movie done on African mythology, they would not throw a cracker and an asian in there for racial balance to be politically correct. Friggin retarded.

Morgan Freeman got some criticism years ago for playing a part in a Shakespeare adaptation that was always previously played by white men. He answered as long as its a fictional work he has no problem playing the part and nor should anyone else. I agree.

The actor in Thor is Idris Elba. As far as I am concerned, any way to get Idris Elba in a movie is a good one. Hes a really good actor.

"There has been a big debate about it: can a black man play a Nordic character?" Elba told TV Times. "Hang about, Thor's mythical, right? Thor has a hammer that flies to him when he clicks his fingers. That's OK, but the colour of my skin is wrong?

I am not a Thor fan but like what I see from this movie. I was never a big fan of the gods and magicians in the Marvel universe, but this movie seems fun.

It wasn't bad... I guess you can say I am just being dumb, but norse mythology is rooted in my ancestry. Though it is mythical, what I am saying is practical and logical. African mythology is also a fairy tale, but reverse the roles and you would not see this. Its no big thing, just kills the story a little bit.
