You could do what I do, Jeff. I just wait until something happens. Eventually, something does. And boom! I have a girlfriend who isn't insane.

Good things come to those who wait.

Or something.

Just out of curiosity, how old are you and how old are the women you are going for? It seems to me that a lot of people under the age of 25-28 have no idea who they are or what they want in life. If you're dating someone like that, don't take it too seriously because they probably don't know what they want out of the relationship.

I am 24, but far ahead of my age mentally. And unfortunately women around my age aren't. I've dated older chicks before (28-32), they are set in their ways and not the easiest to deal with, although those were the longest relationships I have been in myself. I am not looking to settle down or anything... Just get irritated with women who are immature and well... retarded with their choice in men.

I analyze things too much... it is a problem of mine.

That's pretty much what I am doing now. And I agree with you.

Truth.

Younger Vee was selfish and insecure and played a lot of games.

Older Vee is over that. Mostly.

Nothing wrong with playing games.

Thats my problem. When the game playing comes into play I get fed up quick... And well, shit usually ends pretty quickly. I don't play along. I dont feel that I have to make someone else want me, and I dont feel that someone should go out of their way to make me want them. If you dont feel it naturally then... fuck off.

Ok, after my shower I am less grumpy. GOOD MORNING. I am going to parlay the joy of last nights OT victory into a beautiful and productive day. I got pants on, I have coffee, things are going all right! I'm even going to go into work with a short sleeved shirt and not attempt to cover the tat and see how that goes.

lol... After I got hired, I wore a short sleeve shirt and my hiring manager was like, oh shit if I saw that I wouldn't have hired you. I was like hmm, is this dude serious or just fucking with me. Then I said, I dont care cause I'm already here and theres nothing he can do now. I cant wait to start my right arm!

edit: You should have left the pants off.

I've worked there for 8 years and I have other visible tattoos on my other arm. There's no way they're firing me over another one.

I still haven't started studying for my exam today at 3. Part of that is because it's hard to get motivated for the last exam in a class you've already guaranteed yourself to pass, which you don't even need to pass to graduate...

the bad news. my truck was involved in a hit and run yesterday. I was parked and I got in my truck and was about to drive off. I noticed a piece of paper on my window. Thought it was a ticket.

the good news: i grabbed it and read it it said that someone hit my truck. and the guy gave me his phone number as a witness and the car type and the license plate number.

the ugly news: I call the police to report it. (this is my second hit and run and now Im fucking pissed off but have information). they tell me since I have the cars info and a witness to call the insurance company directly (ICBC) so I do. Im on the speaker phone with them and I just give them the witness number, the license plate of the car that hit me and etc.. JUST AS The same car pulls up and parks 2 spots away from me. the guy gets out of the car and looks briefly at my truck to see if I was going to notice him. when I did look at him it looked like he decided it would be good to come talk to me. I open the door leaving the phone call running on the speakers. I thought the guy looked familiar. then I realized it was a guy I worked with almost 10 years ago. I asked him why he left he said he had an appointment. I said I almost left and if not for a note I would not have know I had been hit until another day and then I would not know where I was hit. he would have gotten clean off. he said sorry and hoped I would not call ICBC... the ICBC rep on the phone said sorry sir. Too Late..... he just walked away.

anyway my bumper is scratched middle to around the side. but at least Im not paying for it. he has 24 hours to report to ICBC or they send the cops....

Ugly news...boy I bet that was awkward. Still, sounds like he was being an asshole and everything will turn out nicely for you.

But what do I know? :noidea:

Notice how when people in authority say "Be calm" it always achieves the reverse effect?
