Speaking of pieces of shit.
Hey, here's an idea.....why not cover them because of their service?

Or because they are citizens......or humans

I wonder why the armed services have trouble getting recruits now a days. I guess it's cause the youngsters are lazy....

In sentences that have never been typed before: Well done Kansas.

Let's hope the rest of the country follows Kansas' lead.

That has also never been typed before.

When people turn out, areas that are primarily rocks and coyotes don't get to speak for everyone. And turnout in an off-cycle election in a deep red state went way up and this part of the republican agenda was rejected.

Midterms matter.

I was gonna say. Is it really such a bad thing that a person who gets sick NOT in combat gets the treatment they need?

Or maybe service people get hypertension (Rand's example) because they've had little to no exercise since their tour. Possibly because they've been forced to watch and/or do terrible things and have crippling PTSD?

What a dickbag.

One of my senators voted against it on the basis that the VA is already too busy and this will add more patients to the VA's rolls.

Seriously. I don't know how anyone can say that with a straight face and not also be campaigning hard to increase capacity at the VA.

This is like like Matt Gaetz voting against a national mass shooter alert system because there would be too many alerts.

What you gonna do 'bout that, then?

This turnaround over the last three months or so is quite incredible. I mean, it could still turn out quite badly for the Dems, but it's certainly looking a heck of a lot better these days. Maybe Joe should take out his pen and sign some executive orders to keep the ball rolling.
