Even though many people were told about Trump and they didn't listen.
You can use the old saying goes you can lead them to water but you can't make them drink.

Ummm wait a minute IT IS THE DEMOCRATS fault!
I guess you can't use that excuse as the Right wing Christian nationalist did force them to drink.

I really believe his goal is to destabilize the West and Europe for Russia. Everything he is doing points to that. What shocks me the most is that the immigrants and TPS recipients who supported him—and are now being deported—are actually surprised that he turned on them after securing their votes. The same goes for his supporters who seem genuinely shocked that a billionaire is prioritizing his wealthy friends over the cult that supported him.

In truth, much of the fault lies with the 18-25 age group (and others) who didn’t vote. Now, their entire generation will pay the price and likely blame older generations—because outrage gets views on TikTok.

I don’t have much advice for the future except to invest in ourselves and our loved ones, work hard, and VOTE, VOTE, VOTE for something you believe in—even if it means voting for someone you don’t personally like.

If I’m lucky, I have about 20-25 good years left, so I may not see the worst of what this era becomes. But judging by his first 10 days, the remaining 4+ years will be devastating for the future. And the people who voted for him are far too ignorant to do anything about it.

Yeah, like she has any clue what the DOGE engineersincels are doing lol

Seriously they are making it like that is ok. Stupid people just don't understand what that really means have full read on all data.

Not sure if they will understand but they aren't going to manipulate the existing systems. They are going to take that data and use it outside the US government systems. JFC these people don't understand.

Exactly, they might not have write access (although depending on the tools that come with the system, certain debugging tools will allow you to manipulate database table entries). Are they allowed to connect flash drives to the devices accessing the Treasury system because if they are, it's game over at that point. A few database read queries is all you need.

Remember it is democrats fault;

Democrats on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee moved to subpoena Elon Musk "at the earliest possible moment" to appear before lawmakers — a motion that failed in a party-line vote, 20-19.

Ranking member Gerry Connolly (D-Va.) has last week asked committee Chair James Comer (R-Ky.) to invite Musk to testify before the panel at the hearing on "Rightsizing Government." But Comer declined.

Yep, this is why things like datacenters and systems that PHI, PII and PCI have to adhere to strick compliance regulations.

And what is even scarier, if he can get to other systems it is no longer just US citizen data, it is Non-US citizen data, all military data and even incriminating data against Trump. See this is where Trump is an idiot, Elon will dig up stuff on him and use it against him.

For now in regards to the bolded. Deregulation isn't just for safety measures.

I used to work for a place that has a pretty significant Data Center here in Ohio. And one completely replicated and redundant in another state. I had a lab space in there, and I could not just... go there. I had to have Physical Security let the guards know I was coming, after the CISO or cybersecurity directors approved it. To get into the parking lot, I had to swipe a badge after contact with the (armed) guards. Again with the badge and PIN twice in a man trap to get into the building lobby. Then through a metal detector and everything I was bringing in was searched. If I was bringing in something they didn't know about, It wasn't allowed in. I was not allowed personal devices like my phone. We had a company issued mobile phone assigned to my team that we used when we went there.

To enter the actual Data Center floor, it was another 2x Badge and PIN man trap. Inside, every 6 feet there were cameras, and certain areas of the data center were fenced off by sensitivity level. Almost none of which I could get into. To get into the cage with my servers in it was badge/PIN/Key. To get into my physical lab space was the same and that was within the office area of the building.

This was a private company that dealt in one industry and type of info about their customers. And I had some of the highest levels of access in the company due to my role.

Totally spot on. I have been in and out of many DC's with different companies. I remember the one time going to the one Health Systems main datacenter, and essentially they had armed guards you had to check in with. Then if you weren't authorized and only a visitor, you had to be escorted by a guard and only allowed to walk to the space you were assigned. If I had to use the restroom essentially they had to follow me to it.

This stuff is not taken lightly even at the lowest level. Well maybe not some god awful small startups but that is essentially who has access to this data right now.
