I like how the article points out that such a move could hide the extent of the hack, or assist the Chinese perpetrators but it's all most likely simple, stunning incompetence. "Never attribute to malice that which can be explained by stupidity".



Pay no attention to what the CSRB has done concerning critical infrastructure or banking. Huge amounts of info shared through them. This has been seriously demoralizing to people in my line of work.
