Cobb or Elias?

Who is the better start today? Cobb has not been particularly good since returning from the DL, but he is a good pitcher with a strong track record against the M's. On the other hand, Tampa has not been hitting very well and they have not hit lefties well. I think I'm leaning toward Elias. Thoughts?

I would still go with Cobb. However, my choices have been somewhat suspect lately, so feel free to do the opposite.

LOL I realize that no one knows with certainty the right answer, but I was hoping for something a bit more persuasive than that!

This is a tough call, because Cobb is clearly the better pitcher.

However, like you said, he has not been pitching very well since his return from the DL.

Further complicating matters, The Mariners typically perform better against righties than the Rays do against lefties. Also, Elias has a very deceptive delivery and teams tend to have a tough time the first time that they see him. The Rays have never faced Elias before.

I don't think Cobb should be available at all, but since we are only talking about today I lean towards Elias.

Yeah, I did. Used him in a fanduel contest. Unfortunately, though, I also chose what have been some pretty lame bats so far.
