I would hope Nix would be, the sumbitch played 60+ gamesBroncos HC Sean Payton said Bo Nix is “farther along” than most rookies would be.
Ravens OC Todd Monken said he’s seen “tremendous growth” from Rashod Bateman since midway through last season.
Texans HC DeMeco Ryans said he thinks of Joe Mixon and Dameon Pierce “as a one-two punch.”

Gotta love when OTAs start.
I would totally buy Darnold starting for awhile to begin the season. When the JJ era begins depends entirely on just how good/bad Darnold does. If he somehow he does an adequate job and the Vikes are 'in the hunt', I could see him going most if not all the way.Vikings coach Kevin O’Connell said Sam Darnold is the team’s QB1 heading into training camp.
Translation: QB1 ends when camp starts.
I love June when all 1st round quarterbacks will be great even though we know that odds are 3 of the 6 will be busts. My guesses are Daniels, Maye, and Nix, but hell it wouldn't shock me if it's any of them.
the safe bet is Maye... Penix doesnt count,
all the others i like their situation... Washington and Chicago are both great rookie situations... chicago, of course is probably the best situation for a rookie QB that i can remember, if not ever...
but washington is also damn good...
Washington OL gave up the most sacks in the league last year......not sure I'd call that a damn good situation for a rookie QB
still a better situation than a typical top QB prospect...
not saying it means anything...
E for EffortCowboys quarterbacks coach Scott Tolzien said Trey Lance is “super coachable.”
From the perspective of getting hit and losing yards, it's the worst situation possible for any typical top QB prospect cause their OL didn't get significantly better.
They didn't address OL until 3rd round even tho they had three 2nd rd picks, FA acquisitions were backup level players/depth guys... more likely to be a run-for-your-life situation than a damn good one
Not too hard to stand out in shorts and shells when the D type lining up against isn't even playing 2 hand touchRams head coach Sean McVay said RB Blake Corum has “really stood out” in offseason practices.
“On the offensive side, I’ve been pleased with a lot of guys but Blake Corum has really stood out,” McVay said. “Mature beyond his years. I love the way that he handles himself. I love even more how when there’s been a couple of things that didn’t go the way we wanted, how he responded the next play. The mental toughness that you see from him.”
