I'm telling you, watch out for Baylor. They still have a loaded offense and still have this last year of relevancy. They will be playing with a chip on their shoulder and will go all out before they move back in with KU in the basement. Their schedule alone sets them up to be 6-0 by the time they play Texas and if Bedford hasn't figured out how to coach a defense by then, the Bears could be 7-0 by the time they visit Gary Patterson.

Maybe but just as easily they could be Arkansas post Petrino when John L Smith took the reigns for 1 year. All due respect to Jim Grobe, he aint no Art Briles.

There is a chance in 4 WR sets that Texas ends up starting 4 true freshmen on offense for the game. The opening play will feature a true freshman center snapping to a true freshmen QB vs ND. I dont think people quite understand how young Texas is still. 65 of 85 man roster are Freshmen or Sophs. It would not be so bad, if there was a strong core of senior starters to guide them . That is not the case, as only 3 seniors expected to start. I believe it will be a better season and feature a nice close, but 2016 is not going to be the year that Texas gets back on the national scene. 2017 should be the year Texas is back.

Top 18-25 book it. RB's are too good.

WVU's offense is going to average 40 ppg.

I was at that game. That was fun although as an ASU alum I didn't particularly like the outcome. We had some good ones out here in Phoenix. I had some pretty killer seats for the Fiesta Bowl and National Championship game too. I feel blessed to live here. It gets fun during bowl season.

Those are the worst words a coach can hear. There is nothing worse for a career than expectations built up on old classes that you did not recruit (system fit?) and young talent. I think Texas and USC has 1 thing in common. Young kids on the DL are going to play a heavy role in the final record.

I think USC and Texas are both going to rise back to prominence. Texas showed some flashes last year. Especially vs Oklahoma and Baylor. Talent is a slid building block everything else will fall in place.

This latest Baylor episode was very Briles like. Grove is going to feel the heat before the season starts. Things are just getting worse at Baylor

All good. I can relate. My team doesn't have any business being there either this season. I'm not even sure they have any business being just on the outside of it under the "others receiving votes" category like they are either.
