I do think the Jazz are more selective in their 3's this year. Not like past years, where they'd keep firing away.
That's what I thought would happen, too often, in past years.I think our three-point shooting is down, but on fewer possessions and so therefore the damage of any lower percent is minimized? I have a ? question because I’m just guessing. I don’t know if we are efficient on threes. I just know game by game whether we did well. But I do like not shooting them just to shoot them, even though I didn’t make the observation you did since I’m not watching the games. I just see it on a play-by-play or box score.
Without looking at numbers, I agree with this logic.I think our three-point shooting is down, but on fewer possessions and so therefore the damage of any lower percent is minimized? Not sure I've ever seen a game where a team won a quarter with that low of a FG%.
Utah shot 5-25 and lost the quarter, 30-28.
So I guess I still haven't seen a team shoot 20% and outscore the other team, for that quarter.
