Good test for the Browns. Cincinnati is a tough place for visiting teams. Should be a good game.

The Browns' lack of a rushing attack the last 3 games has been pretty concerning. They're going to have to get something going on the ground to have a chance in this one.

For some reason I was thinking that the Bengals have a tough run defense. After looking at the stats, however, I see that they have given up 4.8 yards per attempted run, tied for worst in the league. Maybe West or Tate has a big game.

Run defense has been poor.

Burfict has finished 2 games, and one of the better run tackles has been out since the 2nd game of the year. Doesn't help that in 2 or 3 games, the Bengals have had 3 backups all in at LB at the same time.

Atkins is just now starting to look like his old self after ACL surgery.

Injuries have really hurt.

However, Browns don't stop the run either, and it could be another solid day on the ground for the rookie Hill. Also, with Cameron being declared out, I think that sways it enough at home for the Bengals. Cameron just kills them (as do any pass-catching TE's).

If Hawkins tries before the game, but can't go, it could get ugly fast.

I like CIN in this one, but close...Bengals DEF has not played well as of late, but I saw enough from Atkins last week to make me think he's at least close to his pro bowl level...if that continues tonight the edge guys will have some chances to get to Hoyer...and he's a different player with some pressure on him.

Maybe on Cameron Jordan (concussed I hear) for CLE tonight...not enough firepower without him.

Atkins is really good when he's healthy. Also like what I've seen of Carlos Dunlap. He seems to me a pretty good pass rusher who also plays the run well.

Agreed.

They say it takes a full year for most ACL's, and a few weeks ago when Atkins finally started looking normal was about 1 full year. I expect to see the old Atkins tonight. Getting Thompson back at DT to rotate is also good for the run defense.

Dunlap has been very good. Going to need more out of him, especially now that Johnson is in TB.

Atkins imo was a top 10 DEF player league wide before injury...quicker than Suh and McCoy...not as athletic as Watt, but more powerful...he may never be that guy again, but his last game I saw him chase down a play to the sideline for pretty much no gain...Dunlap is a great talent, and I know a lot of Bengals fans like him, but not as consistent as I would like for a guy with that kind of talent and the talent around him on the DL.
