What a horrendous team..... We lost 13-7 to the Jeff Kemp led Seahawks. Sad to see Boomer, Munoz, Brooks, Eddie Brown and Harold Green were all on a team that managed 7 points.

I was actually at that game as well - Fortunately I blocked it out until now. Thanks August.

Throwing to Munoz never got old for Sam. What's clear from the highlights is that the team pretty much stopped listening to him by 91..... He deserved to be fired.

I was listening to an interview where someone (Boomer maybe) actually said they had a play where all the receivers simply ran a random route, and they admitted it never worked.

Did they drink beer before the games or something?

Yep......he really needed to be canned, so we could usher in the Shula era, soon to be followed by that franchise savior, David Klingler......ah, good times.......I had season tickets that year......I was so proud......:lm:

Ahh.... The Shula era. Remember when Gary Reasons patted him on the head on the sideline?

Hiring Shula was inexcusable. Same for Coslet. But firing Sam was totally justified. He went on to Tampa and failed miserably.
