Since this is Christmas eve-eve or eve squared for you mathematically inclined, I wanted to take this opportunity to wish all of the posters on the Rams board here at the SportsHoopla a very Merry Christmas and a way better newer year.

This was my first year as a mod and although I made some mistakes, (and I am sure many of you have an opinion on the severity or degree of that "some"), overall it has been a pretty good year here on the Rams forum and I am looking forward to the new year and the many of new posters that will be arriving. Discussions are great and informative and the SportsHoopla is the best damn sports talk board on the planet, BAR NONE!!!

A special shout out to the 50+ Club: Vita, Smed55, Blue, Silas, Blazer, and Mikey!!! You guys are the best and may your Christmas be extra satisfying with great expectations for another year with the Rams!!!

So, enjoy this great time of the year with your family and friends and again MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone and a HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's been a great year on this forum!!! I was completely bummed when they shut ESPN boards down and I thought I was going to lose contact with my fellow Ram fans. Fortunately I heard about this site through the grape vine and so far it's been fantastic! Looking forward to next year!

The jersey's were hung by the flat screen with care,
In hopes that their team would win the afair;

The players were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of touchdowns danced in their heads;

The wifey asleep, my computer in lap,
Forgot to set my DVR, oh what the crap;

On the NFL network was the injury chatter,
I sprang to my feet to see what's the matter;

I turned up the volume a little too strong,
What do ya know, another injury to Long;

Lights turned off so the TV a glow,
Did i forget the beer? Damn it, oh no!;

When what to my wondering eyes should appear,
Drug store commercials with sales on beer;

Friends, pizza, and wings, what a day,
Except for the times Sam Bradford gives the ball away;

As I close my eyes to fall asleep,
tears of joy, i start to weep;

Our team didn't make the playoffs
and it wasn't a terrible year


at least we have Christmas...and
to the store I go to buy more BEER!!

That was great zeke. To retro, vita and to my many friends here on SportsHoopla, Merry Christmas and the best for the Rams and our families in the new year. I give thanks every day for a loving family, older but still able body, clear and emotional mind and someone I can relate to. CBS and now SportsHoopla has given me that. I can relate stories, learn valuable information and have a great time with guys that value what I do. To all of us, a Rams win, a Redskins loss, a Fisher and Snead exceptional deal and the playoffs in 2014. Thank you my friends for being here. blue.
