Can we all say with a great deal of certainty that drafting a Safety is high on the list of priorities?

Not surprising. As expected, Clements was clearly struggling when they tried him at safety.

Crocker is slow and can't tackle. Should be a perfect compliment to Maulaluga in the middle of the field. Geez. So who get's cut?

This just proves Mikey has Alzheimers and doesn't remember how Crocker was abused by Arian Foster in last year's Wild Card game.

Anyone better? People can atone for their mistakes...Let's see what happens folks...lol We need leadership back there with someone that knows the defense at this time of the year...he is better than 3 of our safeties and is even with Nelson....I'll take it everyday at this time of the year and twice on Sunday.

Still looking to see who you all think could come in and do better.....

Sadly they need someone to play this weekend and someone that knows the defense.

I don't think Crocker was signed simply because Clements (who is hurt) wasn't an all-pro safety in the few plays he spent back there. He was signed because Mays sucks and Miles isn't much better.

Neither is Crocker. I'd at least give Iloka a shot before I said that moron.

Yeah, I'd like to see what Iloka can do too, but Marvin won't play a rookie.

I think they tried him back there and he was a failure to say the least. He was missing tackles, not getting to the RB until he was 10 yards passed the LOS. Had he shown any kind of potential there, we probably don't sign someone as bad as Crocker.

Then that would be on the coaching staff for relying on a CB to jump to the safety position and play great by week 3. It should have been addressed in the offseason.

The signing has more to do with Clements being injured (he was in a walking boot Monday) than anything else.

They don't want to rely on just Miles and Mays if Clements misses time, and can you blame them?

Also, Crocker hurt his knee in week 11 last year (I think it was week 11) and then had to have off-season surgery. Maybe he'll provide enough of a boost. Can't get much worse than it's been.

Crocker has never been good. Gettin hurt last year wasn't the reason for his sucking. I'd rather play youth that might get better than Crocker who is a crock of shit.

Never been good?? Dude isnt a pro bowler but did bring stability to the secondary when he signed and made plays from time to time blitzed the QB good made plays in the run game when he WASNT INJURED... The Leadership and knowledge of the defense is why we resigned him...No one is out there better at THIS TIME.....
