No surprise... I thank Chris for all the grit, toughness and competitiveness he brought to the team the last 4 years... True competitor... Good on the Hawks for releasing him due to failing a physical so he could qualify for a few million dollars from the league since he's retiring from an injury he got while playing in the NFL...

Expected. He was great while healthy for the Seahawks, hope being retired from football allows him good health.

Always appreciated his running style. Wasn't afraid of contact. 7th round pick. Didn't have the longevity of other great Seahawk RB's, but a Hawk through and through.

I hope he isn't fucked up for life.

I really liked Carson. Ever since Marshawn retired we have been going through an awful dry spell of RBs and none of them could run as violently as we were accustomed with Marshawn. Carson was a great story a guy drafted in the 7th round who ran the ball very hard you could tell he was trying to make the most of his NFL opportunity similar to a Doug Baldwin story. After seeing those pictures of the metal rod in his neck it was a little disturbing and I am glad he is retiring and coming out of this with wealth.

I really like how the Seahawks take care of players when injured and I think the reason DK chose to stay is because he knows that the Seahawks are a player friendly organization. They have fun in training camp, they let players take time off during bye weeks and take care of them when they get hurt.

Chris McIntosh. Picked #22 overall started in his rookie year at RT opposite Walter Jones at LT. Got a neck stinger in his soph year and was toast. Huge loss for the team and I’m sure to him as well.

Carson was a good Hawk, easy to root for, and a very productive player. His style is pretty tough to turn into a long career, but it still sucks it had to end so early.

Carson had times when he was the best RB in the NFL, Penny did that at the end of last season. The Issue here is health, we don't have such a thing in our running backs ... lol
