Thread for the greatest most successful coach in Oregon Ducks football history! I thread to tribute the great offensive mastermind and the man who changed college football, the man who took Oregon to 4 straight BCS bowl games, won numerous PAC titles and elevated the Oregon football program to top echelon status.

Thanks for everything you did for us coach, you are a legend, and Duck fans will forever be grateful for everything you did for us.

From day one to your decision to leave and the way you have handled yourself since being in the NFL you have shown nothing but class and loyalty to the Oregon football program. Your decision to leave, although tough to lose a man such as yourself, was in the best interest of both yourself and the University of Oregon. The fact that you may or may not succeed at the next level (pretty sure you will) but entering that unknown to help save the future of Oregon football and let your assistants, players and fans continue to build on what you started is maybe the most honorable and heroic thing I have seen from a modern day college football coach. You didn't bail, you did what was best for both parties.

In the end, the Duck family, WON THE DAY!
