I kind of think the Hawks throw the body around early. Haven't the 'Nucks been rolling 3 while Chicago has brought four for the most part? I just hope Ripper does his thing...

both west matchups are amazing. do any of the teams even have injuries? what is with the east? either way the west looks like it will destroy the east in the finals. i think all of the 4 remaining west teams are better than any of the remaining east teams. even when healthy.

Well, technically the Wings are healthy. The time lost playing together has hurt at times though, especially 5 on 5.

still, i think any west team would be the favorite against any east team. especially with the injuries. philadelphia might have gagne back late in this series or if they advance although are still without carter and laperierre. montreal lost markov. the bruins are without seidenberg and maybe sturm. and the penguins lost staal, and some other players. what the heck? i know injuries happen although all of these teams lost very key players. the flyers lost their best penalty killer and best goal scorer. the bruins lost their best goal scorer in the regular season and good defenseman. montreal lost their best defenseman. and the penguins lost their best 2 way player and a defenseman and a winger.

Canucks have lost their top shut-down defenseman (Willie Mitchell) to concussion since a dirty hit from Malkin around Christmas time. He is still not skating, and there is no timetable for his return.
They have lost their top penalty killer (Ryan Johnson) to yet another broken foot, though he should be back sometime during this round.

beyond that, the fill-in d-men have been hurt (Baumgartner, Rome), which basically means we need to play Alberts more, and puts more ice time pressure on people like Salo and Bieksa.

as for who starts it, if Ladd gets any ice time vs Kesler, he might.
otherwise, Burrows will be all over Kane or Toews.

thanks for the information. i am not up to date on the western conference teams. i still think the injuries in the east are worse though. the west matchups are really good though. any of those teams could win the cup.

I was wrong also... The Hawks didn't throw anything around and were totally outplayed. Luongo looked awesome. Chicago better make bring more of a physical presence or Monday night will be the last game in Chicago for the year...

IMO - They better bring something quick or this series is toast for them.

From the highlights I saw, it looked like they need to keep bodies accounted for rather than throwing the body.

I know, thanks man! I was watching boxing last night. I'm a huge boxing fan as well and am thinking about actually stepping in the ring next year. Last nights Mayweather win was pretty good, but the undercard was freakin' awesome! Tried to watch both, but there was too much action!!!

Speaking of highlights...

I seen them from this bout, it seemed Mayweather just took Mosely to task taking him apart pc by pc. Niiiice.

(who needs the ring when a basement will do???....we'll talk bout that later....too many ears and good samaritans here. lol)
