I still believe there's a 95% chance that the Devils do a private appeal and win to get their pick back.

Yeah Im in the same boat as MC with this one. But Im more on the 50-50 level that we actually get the pick back.

But the team will be heard before draft day of next offseason. And hopefully examples like this are used in the appeal process. Even though it wasnt anywhere close to the same number of years that Kovy got its still the same tactic. And since no penalty was given to them it makes even less sense why one was given to us. But thats Bettman for ya.

I don't think so. The penalty hasn't officially been carried out yet at least from a practical stand point.

I guess this makes perfect sense. Always wondered how the Sens had all that talent with such a low payroll. Oh well, like someone said before, doubt if anything will come from this. It'll just get swept under the rug like all other scandals.
