And one of the reasons I was coming around on Chase - if the Bengals weren't going to trade down and look at Slater/Derrisaw - I didn't think Sewell actually offered a massive upgrade since it was clear the Bengals feel that Williams is their LT and Reiff their RT...if Sewell slides in at either of those spots, the OL doesn't really improve, it's a simple 1-1 swap.

Adding Carman add a starting calibur OL to the mix, and also allows for growth more organically for any potential move down the line. If he does that well at OG that he sticks - then that likely means they've landed a top tier interior OL for the next 4-5 years.

It’s consistent with bengals salary structure and this is a passing league . Chase is a strong prospect and a needed spark.

Haven't seen Jwil on here in years. IIRC, he was a bit older - so I hope he's doing well. I know at one point we were going to meet up at the G-town Summer camp one year, but something came up on his side and they didn't make the trip. Then I think his father had some health issues? Maybe it was him?
