Sometimes we as fans lose sight of the victim and family, I hope the guilt plea and sentence can bring them some sort of closure. Will never replace their loved one, but knowing he is behind bars might help

Got the scoop on this. It was exactly as someone posted in conjecture on the other thread. This was all an attempt to get Smallwood to roll over on their shooting suspect. Smallwood never made a call to the witness. The authorities don't have enough evidence to bring their suspect to trial and are doing anything to make charges fly. I feel bad for the victims' families, but trying to ruin another innocent person's life is not the way to achieve justice.
