If ye have Duke or Miami in your final 4 over a BIG team I shall just simply laugh.

The ACC is vastly overrated and it is proven with Nebraska's 20 point win over Wake Forest on the road. Wake beat Miami by 15 last week and also lost to Duke at the buzzer.

Duke and Miami might not even make the Elite 8.

Doesn't seeprise me too much.......Purdue is really good. Probably one of the top 8 or 9 teams in the BIG

LOL

That would put them in the bottom 25-30% then.

I stand firm that the B1G is not as good as perceived (nor as deep). At least we'll get to find out in a couple weeks.

I'm tellin' you guise..........Indiana, Illinois, and Minnesota are 3 teams to keep an eye on in the tournament.

Those 3 teams are just simply filthily stacked with talent. When the bigs on those 3 teams play like they are supposed to, they become almost unbeatable.

Then you throw in Ohio State, Michigan, Michigan State, and Wisconsin.........those teams are just solid. Each one has strengths and weaknesses, but they can all play with anyone.

Thing about the tourney is.........this is when all of a sudden true talent shows. This is when teams like Butler (who is also stacked with talent) suddenly come out of nowhere and go on a run. Suddenly everyone plays harder.......cuz you're in the tournament. And when the real talented guys start playing hard, the little guys fall over and die.

Minnesota and Illinois are both those type of teams. In fact, they are way better than a Butler type of team. They have enough talent to go to the Final 4, and that is no joke.

Of course, every single year I follow basketball like it's the only thing I do and then my bracket is fucked right out of the gate.......

So I should probably just shut up. I'm sticking my neck out quite a bit by talking up 2 teams that are just barely making it into the tourney right now.

I actually LOL'd at this post JJM.

The ACC elite >>>> B1G elite

Indiana would be the only B1G team you could possibly make a case for, but IMO the rest are being overhyped regarding overall depth of the conference.

IMO CBB is so open this year that I wouldnt be shocked to see 4 B10 teams in the final 4 or none make the S16. I mean there are literally 20+ teams that could win the title this year.

I have a system I'm creating which will pick my bracket for me. I will use no Conference bias in my picks.

It will be much like what I did for College Football this past season.
