Does anyone know if drafted and signed CHL players can be loaned to European club team?

I don't think it's ever been done but it seems like a good option for prospects who don't have anything to learn from junior hockey but aren't quite ready for NHL play.

Good question. I don't know the answer but my guess would be no. I think it would be more to do with the agreement between the CHL and NHL than a CBA thing but could be both.
