Wow. Iowa plays the loser of UAB/Buffalo to try and avoid going 0-3 in this tournament. Bad part is there isn't much difference between those two teams and South Dakota State, so going 0-3 is very possible.

Here's an awful stat. With today's loss Iowa is now 7-17 the last 5 years in tournament atyoe basketball ( OOC/B10/postseason ). That's not bad. It's awful

Yep I don't know if it's a coaching thing or what . Almost has to be because there's no real way to explain it otherwise as the players have been different .

Credit to Buffalo for splashing water in our faces. They had a irritating style. Woke us up. This Island trip was fun, but I still don't know how good we really are yet. Beating up on cupcakes for 2 weeks now didn't do anything positive. Our defense looked better, but we're still so careless with the ball. Especially with Broome. That Xavier game can't come fast enough.

SDST might've been our toughest opponent out of this; which we didn't have the chance to play. Crazy.
