Casserly ranks Kirk Cousins as the fourth-best quarterback in the four-team NFC East, behind Dallas’s Tony Romo, New York’s Eli Manning and, yes, Philadelphia’s Sam Bradford.



Bullshit i say. Sure Manning and Romo are better than Cousins but in my honest opinion at this point Cousins is much better than Bradford.

Cousins in his career has way better numbers. Also in his first full season starting he leads his team to the postseason. Has Bradford done this? Nope.

Bradford at this point in my opinion is not that good.

Cousins had some of his stats get inflated, imo; been a couple articles posted on here that have demonstrated that. He needs to be better or there is a fierce regression coming for him. Gruden from what I can tell is a legit offensive mind however which is the good news watching the Skins. Just a matter of if Cousins is consistent and avoids gaffes like he did not until the 2nd half of last season. His 2nd full year as a starter should be revealing. Bradford is kind of just a brokedick to be blunt. Spectacularly bland, and injury prone to boot. I wouldn't want to commit to either of these QB's longterm unless something significant changes.

Cousins definitely has the higher upside at this point as I don't think Bradford is going to all of a sudden change his ways and maybe more importantly his injury history but I also am not feeling great having Cousins at the helm. He did decent this past season and has a chance to really build on that but we have seen plenty of 1-year wonders come crashing down.

People said nice things about Kaepernick early on. Cousins has upside but I wouldn't commit to a 3 year contract. Bradford has flaws but he's a better QB than a lot of people give him credit for. For 1 year i'd take whoever was significantly cheaper.

But, as others have pointed out, there is no such thing as a healthy Bradford.
