Cash and future considerations?

Keep hearing this is what we are trading our players for. So what gives? Is "future consideration" the new PTBNL? Or are we literally giving up these guys for nothing? We have now given up Gimenez, Soto, and Germano for what amounts to nothing so far. Granted none of those are stud players and we can replace them, but I at least enjoy looking at stats of the guys we get back even if they are AA ball players.


At least we get to see Telis.
