Cole Anthony will miss 4-6 weeks due to Arthroscopic Knee Surgery

The surgery was supposedly for a partially torn meniscus. Zion was 6-8 weeks, but maybe his tear was more severe. If it's eight weeks, he's not coming back. That would be mid February and they'd be an NIT team by then.

If it's four weeks, they might survive. The question is whether he wants to risk re-injury for a team that's going nowhere.

I don't think they expected Herro to leave after one year. I'm also not sure this UK team has a 1st round pick on its roster. Don't get me wrong, they have a talented team, but it's not what we are accustomed too.

Wiseman out, Anthony hurt, Edwards is a stud but signed with a mediocre team. Typically Cal would expect to get Wiseman and Edwards.

There's flashes from the rest, but nothing impressive.

Bryan Antoine who has been a 5 star recruit since he was 11 years old is averaging like 5 minutes a game.

Oh yeah, this is definitely a down freshman class. Also RJ Hampton and LaMelo Ball are playing in Australia, both probably top 10 picks. And Jalen Lecque went pro out of this class. And it is spread out.

It's honestly as wide open as I can remember, at least that's how it looks right now. OSU is the #1 team in KenPom and they wouldn't have even been a top 8 team last year. Last year's Purdue team would be ranked 2nd in KenPom for this season. And that was basically Carson Edwards surrounded by guys who weren't good enough to play overseas. Makes for a fun year though, and hopefully a crazy tournament.
