Doob's analysis:
Hurricanes have been solid in their 1st 2 games picking up 3 out of a possible 4 points. They took the Red Wings to overtime and beat the Flyers in regulation. I know it's early but it does appear as if their defense is improved, plus they have a lot of offensive talent, so it's a very dangerous team. Pens appear to be in mid season form shutting out the Devils 3-0 in the 1st game & beating the Sabres 4-1 in the 2nd game. Pens have been led by the likes of Sidney Crosby, Chuck Kobasew, & Craig Adams who have all scored a goal in each of the 1st 2 games. Marc-Andre Fleury has also looked fabulous thus far. I think it will be a good game, but I pick the Pens to prevail 3-2.
