Personally if I were going to schedule the early-in-the-season Cupcake State type of programs, I would at least go after one with a better rep than WKU. I'd have to agree with Exorbitant on this one.

There is some benefit I guess, but take a look at what happened after we played a similar type of team {Pacific} in 1994 and 1995. In 1994 we struggled to win against Wyoming and we struggled to beat a bad WSU team in 1995.

Don't be surprised to see us struggle to win against Idaho this year. Idaho is supposedly going to have a lot of returning starters back from their 2009 bowl team.
If we lose, the benefit of playing WKU will be pretty much voided in my opinion, with the exception of the financial part of the deal.

Also, I don't want anyone to think that I believe we should just try to schedule only top notch teams every year on our NCG schedules, but WKU? Come on!
