"Cornerback Carlos Rogers’ dalliance on the free agent market didn’t last long as he reportedly has agreed to return to the 49ers.

Yahoo Sports! reported thatRogerswill earn roughly $7.3 million per year.

After playing his first six seasons with the Washington Redskins,Rogersjoined the 49ers last season on a one-year, $4.2 million contract. He produced his first Pro Bowl season and shared the team lead with six interceptions during a 13-3 regular-season campaign."

No reason to delete. This signing involves the 49ers so it deserves its own thread.

CB is just about set now. I love the Cox signing and 7.3 mil sounds about right if he can be as productive as he was this year.

Whew...feeling a lot better now...Cohn & Son's were saying some foolish things, like we can afford to let Rogers go because of our pass rush....chicken or the egg argument in my mind. Rogers was a critical part of our pass D and Baalke played it tight but well...thank goodness...

With Cox that is just a huge bonus...Ginn can walk now...
