tbh it looked like he was out to me. i think he brushed him with the glove and so did the ump. replay officials needed overwhelming evidence to overturn and i sure didn't see it.

Hard to sweep a good team like the Cards (altho it can be done, just ask the Yankees). Not happy of course, especially after the strong outing from Rodon, who aside from giving up that one dinger, was virtually flawless. He deserved a dub for his efforts. Our vaunted pen continues to baffle while our hot-n-cold offense of late has been much more cold than hot, averaging a paltry 3 runs per game since our 16-4 win last week against Minny.

Yermin needs to adjust - pitchers are blowing by his power stroke up to two strikes - and send him frustrated into his two strike batting approach. In order to be a top player Mercedes needs to show he can adjust to how he is currently being pitched.
