Amnesia as a plot device with Samuel L Jackson as the buddy comedy relief?

They're definitely playing it safe with this one because they're adding in a lot of lore. I think people's expectations should be somewhere around Thor 1 with this. I liked Thor 1, Hitman's Bodyguard and all of those JRPGs built around amnesia so I'll definitely be watching this but I've never really been a big fan of this part of the Marvel Universe so my expectations aren't that high.

With Skrull and Amnesia you can pretty much justify any and all plot twists.

I'm sure he is in it, too. I think I'm going into 'no trailers from here on out' for the movie after Thor Ragnarok's trailer spoiling the best scene in the movie.

Do we need Nova? Captain Marvel really can make a lot of characters irrelevant pretty quickly and we know they're going to tie everything back into the Avengers. Tony Stark is too important in the Marvel universe not to be central in defeating Thanos, imo. You have multiple movies of buildup with Iron Man, he is in space, he still needs to fight with Captain America, he has the Superior Iron Man tech that makes him stronger than every Avenger except Thor and maybe one or two others. I know Marvel never really saw Iron Man as the hero but I think he is still the most key cog in the Marvel universe. I think once you add in Nova then the Avengers are kinda obsolete.

Yep, that's Ronan the Accuser. Villain from GOTG. The black guy in the upper left, Korath the Pursuer, is also from GOTG. He's the one who confronts Starlord at the beginning.

well I know they have had Nova Corp in the movies and all that but I kind of don't see them having them collapse and Nova being created.
