Only 23 shots through 2 periods for both teams combined. Very defensive game. Knuble and Ovechkin need to pick it up. They've been slacking for too many games now. Would love to see a comeback, but just don't see it happening tonight. Backstrom (theirs, not ours) looking too strong.

Needed to play like they did for most of the third for 60 minutes. I give them a bit of slack because it was a back-to-back game, but 60 minutes, hell 40 minutes of 3rd period play would've gotten them the win

Minni is such a boring team to watch. Not to be rude, but I don't know how the fans can stomach such hockey. On the plus side there playing well and knocked off the powerhouse of the East so grats to them.

The Wild do need a personality injection. Mikko Koivu can only do so much in that area.
