Good game Caps fans. Your team was easily the better one tonight. I don't even think the Habs played bad, just sloppy at inopportune times.

Congrats on 9 straight.

Just finished watching the game on the DVR in EST (Eloco Standard Time).

Great game from the Caps. Honestly could have finished a little better, but we were all over them tonight. Very strange first few minutes and then settled into a nice game. Enjoyed how defeated the Habs were for the last couple minutes.

Ritari - I did read the article. I think it makes some sense, but is also oversimplified garbage. I'm sure other guys on the team "talk" to Semin. I think the bigger issue is that it's easier for Jason Arnott - NHL vet, Stanley Cup winner, and journeyman - to tell Semin what he should be doing than a guy who is a rookie (like Mojo or Perreault) or slightly sub-mediocre-for-life center Eric Belanger. And I also just think that the skill set Arnott has fits well with Semin - his ability to dig out pucks sets up Semin in great spots. So I think it's great Arnott is talking and he, Laich, and Semin have clearly built a great rapport quickly, but some of this is the talking, some of it is that Semin has been a better D player all year long, and some of it just the chemistry and fit of these guys together.

In either case, I like Arnott a lot. Hope he gets healthy. But I also like that we are without our top two centers and our top offensive D-man and putting up goals and getting a W. Nice game, Caps!
