I would never want to ''tank'' a game, let alone a season. However, I don't think cleaning up our cap for once is the same as tanking. It's giving us a competitive chance to improve in the future. If parting ways means with Hatcher, Spencer, Austin and even Ware means that we get to keep our good young players and actually be able to fill needs in FA in the future, I'm all for it. Jarius Byrd would have looked damn good with a star on his helmet this year. Maybe the best thing that will come from our cap problems is Jerry understanding the value of every single draft pick. Perhaps that's why he made the switch this year in who has his ear on draft day
